NEWCOMBE, Linda - Of Grand Blanc, age 76, died Friday, July 21, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.

Linda was born in Flint, Michigan in Flint, Michigan on September 24, 1946, the daughter of Francis and Screal (Ross) Ellery. Linda graduated from Flint Northern High School, Class of 1964. Linda retired from Mott Children’s Health center after many years of supporting the Flint community. In retirement Linda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her granddaughters watching old movies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Alan Newcombe.
Surviving are sons, Michael (Dana) Newcombe and Dr. Ryan Newcombe;
granddaughters, Madalyn and Brianna Newcombe;
sister, Louise Johns and sister-in-law, Irma Ellery;
nieces, Chris, Lynn, Lori Lenore and Sherry;
and nephew, Doug.
