Shannon, Timothy Gerard of Davison, Michigan went to his eternal home on November 10, 2022 at the age of 69. Funeral Mass will be held 1 PM Monday, November 14 at St. John Catholic Church 404 N. Dayton St. Davison. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday, and a Rosary will also be held 7 PM Sunday, November 13 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will also be held 12 PM Monday until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
He is survived by “his girls”; wife of 41 years Mary (Botz) Shannon, his daughters, Sarah (David) Blight, and Elizabeth (Joseph) Lovelace, and his beloved grandchildren Charlie, and Alayna Blight, and Evelyn, Joseph, and Emelia Lovelace.
Tim was the quintessential salesman/optimist/“don’t sweat the small stuff” guy. He was always ready to pitch an idea, an opinion, or give advice (sometimes to the chagrin of his daughters) . A man of faith, love of country, and family, he truly was one of a kind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Margaret (McGlinch) Shannon, his sister Maureen Burt, and his brother Thomas Shannon. Those also waiting for him are his father and mother in law Dr. Robert J. and Mattie Botz, and his brother in law, Thomas Botz.
Please keep his siblings Kathleen Shannon, Colleen (Gary)Townsend, Tricia Shannon, Eileen (Dana) Evans, Mike (Gay) Burt, Dr. Patrick (Jodi) Botz, Nancy Botz, and Elizabeth Uptegraff. His nieces and nephews, his grandchildren, his “girls”, and all those that love and respect him in your prayers as they navigate this new journey with Tim guiding them in a different way.
