WILLEY, Diana Jean – of Burton, age 76, passed away on October 1, 2024. The family will receive visitors 4 - 7 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan. Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Diana was born in Flint, Michigan on September 8, 1948, daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth Willey. She found joy working in her beautiful flower gardens and immersing herself in DIY projects, transforming her home with her creative touch. An avid crafter and skilled sewer, she loves bringing her ideas to life. A devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and U of M football, she relished the excitement of game days. Above all, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories. Diana proudly served as a Guardian Ad Litem for Genesee County, advocating for children and making a positive impact in their lives. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan or Humane Society of Genesee County.
Diana is survived by children: Frank (Jackie) Yell and Melissa Yell; grandchildren: Travis Yell and Sierra Yell; brothers: Michael (Sarah) Willey and Jack (Cindy) Willey, and many other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kristin Nikolakeas and the staff at Medical Team Hospice, especially Lisa V., for their continuous acts of comfort and compassionate care.
