Luu, Tonya Diane of Flushing, age 48, died Saturday, January 11, 2025, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be held at 3 O'clock Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church in Houghton Lake, Michigan.
Tonya was born in Decatur, Alabama on July 23, 1976, the daughter of Diana Malosky. She loved anything to do with electronics. Tonya was savvy at couponing. She enjoyed being outdoors and was her daughter’s biggest cheerleader at her sporting events. Tonya enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nephew and cousins. Tonya was looking forward to working with the Flushing Lions Club and Flushing Christian Outreach Center when her health was better. She will be remembered for her generosity.
Tonya is survived by her daughter, Savannah; mother and stepfather, Diana and John Walker; special aunts, Kathy and husband Larry Fargo, Suzanne and husband Robert Elwell; nephew, Logan Lambertson; cousins, Frank Seymour and Finnley and Claudia Seymour; and many dear friends and special friend Beth Benson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Arlene Malosky; and uncle, Sonny Seymour.
