MORTON HEIDEL, Geraldine – Of Michigan and Florida, age 83, died Saturday, August 15, 2020 at her residence.
Visitation 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. and Graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Crestwood Cemetery.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.

Burial at Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
Geraldine was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 22, 1937, the daughter of Gerald and Pearl (Stallings) Hughes.
She married the first love of her life, Charles Morton on June 18, 1955 in Flint for 39 years; and then married the second love of her life, James Heidel, on February 17, 2007, in Gatlinburg, TN, where they proceeded to finish out their life together in Zephyrhills, FL.
Geraldine said she was lucky to have Charles for her working and child raising years; and lucky to have James for the years that they could focus on each other.
She had a full life enjoying her amazing friends; especially her sister friends; her clubs, singing, especially karaoke and Bingo.
She was a proud member of the UAW Retirees, Eagles Club #629
and member of the Moose Lodge in Zephyrhills.
Surviving are children, Rebekah (Mark) Salsgiver,
Sandra (Joe) Dixon and
Bob (Amy) Morton;
grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) Salsgiver, Travis Salsgiver, Savannah (Tim) Maleski, Ariel (Stephen) Dixon, Alexis Morton, Logan Morton, Savannah Morton, Dennis (Christine) Morton and Denise Morton;
6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Morton, in 1994, James M. Heidel, in 2018; son, Dennis E. Morton, in 1999; parents, Pearl and Gerald Hughes and sister, Sarah Janice Allen.
