RHOADS, Wesley Harold – Of Durand, age 90, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Brian Stogner officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Those desiring may make contributions to Rochester University or Harding University Communications.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Wesley was born in Bethany Township, Michigan on September 30, 1931, the son of the late Cleo and Edith (Hendricks) Rhoads.
He married Shirley King on June 2, 1951.
He was a member of Church of Christ on Bristol Road.
Surviving are children, Laurie (Curtis) Coleman of Flint,
Lisa (Brian) Stogner of Davison,
Leslie Francis (Brad) Searcy of Arkansas and
Phillip (Melissa) Rhoads of Loveland, Colorado;
grandchildren, Will (Falan), Alex, Matt Francis, Katie Stogner, Wesley and Bennett Rhoads.
