SANOCKI, Aiden E. – of Birch Run, age 21, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Ted McCulloch officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM, and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hurley Foundation - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hurley Children's Hospital.
Aiden was born on January 27, 2005, the youngest of triplets born to Michael and Marcie (Landskroener) Sanocki. He graduated from Birch Run High School with the Class of 2023 and was attending Northwestern Michigan College. Driven by a passion for aviation, Aiden had earned his private pilot license and was diligently working toward his commercial pilot license, a goal he was proud to be pursuing. Known for his strong work ethic, he was a cook at Hop Lot Brewing Company in Suttons Bay, installed docks for Leelanau Dock and Hoist, and was a store associate at Dunham's in Traverse City. He also shared Lee Brother’s Lawn Care with his brother, Sawyer. Aiden was dependable, easygoing, and always willing to lend a hand. He had a true love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, watersports, and winter skiing. Aiden was never one to pass up the next adventure and enjoyed sharing those experiences with family and friends. Above all, he loved his family. With a kind heart, humble nature, and a smile that came easily, Aiden was fiercely protective of those he loved and leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving are: Mom, Marcie Sanocki (Fiancé Timothy Hense); Dad, Michael (Jamie) Sanocki; Brother, Sawyer Sanocki; Sister, Nava Sanocki; Step siblings: Sophia Hense, and Cayden, Kaylee, Colton, and Caleb Veyna; Aunts & Uncles: Jennifer (Tony) Seconsky, and Melanie (Mark) Dowe; Grandmothers: Trudy Sanocki, and Leanne Grover (fiancé Tim Dodak); Many loving cousins, other family members, and friends. Aiden was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Robert “Bob” Sanocki, Melvin Landskroener, and Roger Grover.
