SHORT, Scott Stephen – of Clio passed away on Saturday, February 19th, 2022, at the age 58. A private family service will be held at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Inurnment will take place at West Vienna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation (George Short & Kristen Steelman).
Scott was born June 14, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to George and Carol (Kleiber) Short. He grew up in Clio, Michigan and attended Clio High School. Scott had a love for cars that started at a young age. Whether it was turning a tired paint job into a beautiful one, or figuring out the mechanicals, he could do it. Everyone that knows Scott also knew that he had a voice to sing and loved Elvis Presley. He was an easy man to like and would help anyone that needed him. He will be missed by many.
Scott is survived by his children, Brandon (Brittany) Gregory, Kristen (Chad) Steelman, Anthony Wells, Scotty Short; Grandchildren, Trenton Gregory, Greyson Gregory, Xander Gilbert, Lynae Steelman; Father, George Short; Brother, Tony Short; Special nephew, Joel Short; and several nieces and nephews.
