BOYLE, Wayne D. – Of Burton, formerly of Flint, age 84, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at home with his loving wife present.
Private burial of cremains with be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Wayne was born in Flint, Michigan on March 9, 1937, the son of the late Douglas and Alice (Bailey) Boyle. He was enlisted in the Navy in 1957 and was discharged in 1961. On August 11, 1962, he married Linda Coyer at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. After 30 years, Wayne retired from General Motors and was a member of the UAW. He enjoyed camping, riding dirt bikes, fishing and traveling with his family. Him and Linda enjoyed cross country motorcycle trips. Wayne thoroughly enjoyed his retirement with beer and wine making, spending time with friends, watching television and doing word search puzzles.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
Children, Chris (Dena) Boyle, Davina (Wayne) Inman;
Granddaughters, Amber (Tyler Cool) Boyle and Heaven Lee Dimock;
Sister, Darlene Hetherington.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Zelda Metivier and Mary Cocking.
