Harman, Arthur - of Clio, age 81, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Henry Ford- Genesys. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Arthur's life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1PM, at the Arrowhead Vets Cub in Flint – 402 West Water St, Flint MI 48503.
Born on December 5, 1944, in Midland, MI, to the late Arthur and Selena (Shultz) Harman, he grew up to be a hardworking man with a heart of gold. Arthur attended Midland High School and married the love of his life, Nora, on October 24, 1964. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love. Arthur was a proud member and former President of the Arrowhead Veterans Club, where he made lasting friendships and shared many great memories. He had a passion for gardening, cooking, and baking. There was nothing he loved more than spending an afternoon fishing or picking blackberries. He would often share the fruits of his labor with friends and family, finding joy in their happiness. His love for his cat Suki brought him comfort and companionship, and he could often be found playing a good card game.
Surviving are: Children: April Harman and Timothy Harman; Grandson, Joseph Harman; Great Grandchildren: Andrew and Daniel Harman; Sister, Ida Hatt; Sister-In-Laws: Nancy Osborn and Becky Saylor; Nieces and Nephews: Laurie Cregar, Lisa Mielcarek, Darcy Draper, Tammy Foltz, Bruce Ogden, Gerri Davidson, Becky Cowan, Cary Saylor, Christy Anderson and Josh Harman. He is preceded in passing by his parents; Wife, Nora Harman; Siblings: Ernest Harman and Grace Ogden and Niece, Shelly Ogden.
