Constance Kay Zuckschwerdt
Age 72, of Owosso, passed away Thursday January 24, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7pm Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4pm to the time of service.
Connie was born April 11, 1946 in Owosso; the daughter of Donald and Esolda Irving.She graduated from Elsie High School and then continued her education at Farthings School of Cosmetology.
Connie married Duane Edward Zuckschwerdt in Elsie on August 27, 1966.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, kayaking, boating, fly fishing, wine tasting in Michigan's wine country, and her time at the River House on the Platte River. If Connie wasn't at the River House you could find her enjoying Lake Michigan. Connie also loved traveling in the motor home and pampering Syd and Sarah, her beloved pets.
She is survived by her husband Duane, children Scott Edward (Diane K.) Zuckschwerdt and Eric John (Diane C.) Zuckschwerdt; grandchildren Jacob Edward, Lauren Kay, Xavier John, and Joshua Scott Zuckschwerdt; step brother Ronald Sills: brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Bill (Suzie) Zuckschwerdt, Annette (Leon) Watson, Vickie Irving; many first cousins; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
Connie was predeceased by her parents and her brother Tom.
