RAYMOND, Linda- of Clio, age 72, died peacefully Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 1PM Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee County Animal Shelter and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Linda was born July 11, 1949, in Flint, to the late Leopold and Marjorie (Wisda) Dobis. She attended Mt. Morris Community Schools where she received her high school diploma and worked on the assembly line at General Motors AC Spark Plug for 30 years. On May 23, 1977, Linda married the love of her life and best friend, Harry Raymond. Together they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Linda was a proud grandmother who enjoyed taking her grandchildren shopping and spending time with her family. She liked to play card games, go camping, and loved all animals. Above all, Linda was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to extend a sincere “Thank you” to Kelly Brushaber, Amanda Hubbard, Sarah Walsh, Kris Fleissnier, and all staff with Elara Caring Hospice for their professionalism and care during this difficult time.
Linda is forever loved by her husband, Harry; Children: Michelle Pilon and Chad (Darylann) Raymond; Grandchildren: Nicklas Pilon, Addyson Pilon, and Jordyn Raymond; Siblings: Judy Grant and Fred (Teresa) Dobis; several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Leopold and Marjorie. |
