Trista Lee Daniel, 71, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at WellBridge of Fenton.
She was born on June 23, 1950 to Ardath and RG Kelsey in Genesee, Michigan and was a graduate of Genesee High School, Class of 1968.
Trista worked as a Sanitation Specialist at AC Spark Plug (General Motors), Flint for over 30 years where she retired in 1989.
On October 16, 1989 she married Richard (Rick) Daniel in Burton, Michigan. She enjoyed making ceramics, putting puzzles together, latch hook, playing pool, fishing with Rick, and was a huge animal lover. Over the years, she had multiple cats, many of which were strays that she and Rick took in and cared for. But above all else, she loved her son Kenny, her family, and treasured her grandchildren.
Trista is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Kenneth (Kenny) (Michelle) Compton and two grandchildren Gabrielle (Gabby) and Abigail Compton; 3 sisters, Terry Bakewell, Kendra Stanton and Kimberly Perryman.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ardath and RG Kelsey.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
