GOSS, JERRY- age 90 of Flint Township, Michigan passed away on May 26, 2025.
Funeral will be at 11 am on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Sarah LaRose- Nettell officiating.
Visitation will be 11 am-8 pm Thursday May 29, 2025, and Friday 9 am until the time of service at the Swartz Funeral Home.
A Fraternal Order of Eagles memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Eagles Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Jerry was born in Malden, Missouri on September 7, 1934, to the late Henry Jeff and Geraldine (Pedigo) Goss.
Jerry married the love of his life Charlene (Willie) Goss in May of 1953.
Jerry worked at Hamady Brothers Warehouse as a truck driver for over 30 years. He was the Worshipful Master of the Davison Masonic Temple 263 in 1977 and was a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shriners for many years. Jerry’s biggest passion was the Fraternal Order of the Eagles; Jerry was a member of Burton #3814 for over 45 years and was the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Michigan State President.
During his time as State President, he raised over $87,000 which was donated to the Genesys Cancer Center.
Jerry is survived by his children Cindy (Dennis) Marshall; Jerry Jr. (Lorene) Goss; Kim (Scott) Thompson;
Grandchildren, Trever, Dustin, Zac (Christine), Ryan, Cody (Tabbitha), and Kara, and 6 great grandchildren; sister Kay Dillon.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Charline (Willie) his parents, and sister Joan Fogelberg.
