Maurene Ann Burns of Davison, age 63, died Wednesday January 17, 2024. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Private burial services will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Maurene’s memory to Hansen Funeral Home.
Maurene was born in Flint Michigan on September 26, 1960 the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Luttrell) Burns and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1979, and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. She was an avid sports fan and had played basketball and softball throughout her school years. She loved animals and had been a cook for many years in several local restaurants.
Maurene leaves her loving siblings: Colleen Vuketich, Bob and Liana Burns, Tim and Trish Burns, Julie and Matthew Tvardos, and Matt and Malia Burns. She also leaves a host of extended family, friends, and her dog and loving companion Ben.
