Kris A. Downing - Of East Jordan, born January 26, 1969 passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2021 at her residence.
Private funeral service will be held at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Kris was a dynamic and compassionate woman who will be missed dearly. She was a mother, wife, sister, friend, and a nurse. She loved to sing, to spoil the people she loved, and to be in nature.
She is survived by her husband Mark, her daughter Stefanie and husband David, son, Edward, and partner William, brother Charlie, her sisters Jamie and husband Dan, and Evie, her f**king neighbor, Angela and husband Troy, and countless family members and friends who will no doubt never forget her.
She was preceded in death by her father Harvey, mother Mary Jo, sisters Mary, Tammi, Iola, and Karen.
