Steven Bernard Chase
Age 63 of Burt passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St. Mary's of Saginaw.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at McGeehan Funeral Homes St. Charles Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00pm until the time of service.
Steven was born on May 21, 1958 to Bert and Helen (Sayan) Chase in Saginaw. He graduated Class of 1976 from Chesaning High School. On October 11, 1986 he married Jeanne Marie Ritenburg. Steven was an avid biker and enjoyed traveling all over the United States on his bike. He was a member of the Iron Wheels Motorcycle Club for almost 40 years. Steven loved throwing parties and hanging out with friends at the pond. You could always find him with a Pepsi in his hand and snacking on Tootsie Rolls and Fudge Rounds. Above all, Steven was a family man and most enjoyed being with them.
Steven is survived by his wife, Jeanne Chase; his son, Chris (Dawn Lash) Ritenburg; grandchildren, Dylan and Chloe Ritenburg; brothers, Fred Chase, Jack (Margaret Ann) Chase and Mark Chase; Aunt Mar; mother-in-law, Barbara Ritenburg, and several nieces, nephews and cousins
He is predeceased by his parents, Bert and Helen Chase, brother, Bernie Chase, and father-in-law, Floyd Ritenburg.
