BRONSON, Dawn K. - Of Davison, age 68, died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Ross Martello officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to leukemia or breast cancer research.
Visitation 12-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dawn was born in Flint, Michigan on July 31, 1955, the daughter of Donald and Sarah Shepard. Dawn graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School, Class of 1973. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Governors University. Dawn always looked her best and had a gift for beautiful decorating. She loved all things pink, especially with a bit of glitter. Dawn adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite ways to spend time were at the ocean/beach, Skidway Lake as a child, enjoying restaurants, writing – she wrote such heartfelt poems about those she loved, having coffee with her girlfriends, and every minute she could be with her grandchildren. She will forever be known for telling her family “I love you to the moon and back.”
Surviving are husband, Tim Bronson;
children, Jason (Ami) Redick of Davison, Ryan “Rocky” (Melissa) Redick of Columbiaville;
grandchildren, Chad (Dani), Jadyn, Kaylynn, Trenton, Gavin, Jaxon, Skylar, Gabby, Emerson, Haylee, Ashley, Mikaela and Jasmine;
step-children, Tim Bronson Jr., Jenny Bronson and Michelle (Tom) Crews;
grandog, Molly Moo;
brothers, William Henry and Doug (Cheryl) Henry;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Skinner, granddaughter, Sydney, siblings, Patricia, Richard, Robert and Donalee, and sister-in-law, Wanda Henry.
