WISE, Alan - of Davison, MI, formerly of Clio, MI, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at South Baptist Church, G 4091 Van Slyke Rd. Flint, MI 48507; Pastor Scott Snyder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2:30 – 4 PM prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, in Alan's memory.
Alan was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 21, 1941, son of the late Wyman and Doris (Dahlquist) Wise. He married Judith DesChaine on June 13, 1964. Alan retired from teaching in the Clio Public Schools after 35 years of service. Alan was a part time builder and completed a beautiful home for his family in Clio. He enjoyed crafting Petoskey stone works of art, playing games, gardening, and spending time with family.
Alan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith; 3 children; Scott (Cori Kosal) Wise, Wendy (Steve) Powers, Alison (Kirk) Hansen; 10 grandchildren; brother, Larold (Margery Craven) Wise, many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
