Per Lynne's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Lynne was born on April 6, 1943, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Norma (Essex) Currell.
Lynne graduated from Kearsley High School and received her Associate's Degree from Baker College. She graduated from Baker College with double honors when she turned 50 years old. She taught adults English as a second language; tutored adults to receive their GED and volunteered for many years at Hoover Elementary School.
She enjoyed camping, her cat, Kali, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a recruiter for Big Sisters/Big Brothers and had a little sister for 3 years. She was a volunteer at Brian's House and Adopt-a-Pet. Lynne was a member of Court Street Methodist Church, was a Sunday school teacher, counselor for camp for special needs and orphans. She worked the Election polls for 10 years. Lynne was a property manager for many years.
Surviving are daughter, Melissa (Marc) Rucinski;
2 grandchildren, Jaclyn and Jarod Rucinski;
brother, Richard Currell and partner Lea Ann Sterling;
sister-in-law, Gail (Glenn) Brookins;
nieces, Megan Currell (Robert Lutey) and Jessica (Seth) Cohn;
great-nieces and nephew, Julia, Beatrix, Theodore and Vivienni.
