SAUNDERS, Ann M. - Of Flint, age 67, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon Anthony Verdun officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Carman Ainsworth Education Foundation.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Ann was born in Flint on December 22, 1951, the daughter of the late Eugene and Imogene (Mulcahy) George. Ann started her career at the Flint Board of Education. She then went on to the Flint Institute of Barbering as an Administrative Assistant. Ann volunteered at Carman-Ainsworth and was President of the PTC. She then moved to being a Trustee on the Carman-Ainsworth School Board. Ann enjoyed a full life of service and devotion to her family, friends, and community.
Surviving are children, Bryan (Joanna) Wiggs, Rebecca (Ryan) Fletcher and Jessica Saunders;
grandchildren, Owyn, Kylie, Joseph, Jaeda and Ava;
brothers, Michael (Mary) George, Thomas (Marty) George, Matthew (Maryanne) George and James (Lori) George;
sisters, Mary Sue Cline and Colleen George;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry and brother, David George.
