WHEELER, William Leroy – Of Clio, age 79, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Gaylord, Michigan on March 17, 1941, the son of Walter and Mary (Clark) Wheeler.
He married Darlene Allen on July 30, 1960 and had two children.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are 5 grandchildren, Tamara (Brian) TerBurgh, Ashli Dennis, Amber Dennis, Tonie (Jimmy) Gazso and David Laporte II, all of Michigan;
8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; son, Scott L. Wheeler and daughter, Ann(Pat) Goss.
