Andrew David Arnold, of Grand Blanc, Michigan peacefully passed away on January 15, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of the late Georgianna Marie; adored father of Jeffrey (Jennifer) Arnold, Brian (Peggy) Arnold, and Andrew (Bar) Arnold; proud grandfather of Erin, Gary, Brian, Andrew, and Katie; also survived by his nephew, Kevin (Krys) Murphy; best friend, Mike Reed; and his beloved terrier, Sophie. He was predeceased by his parents, Marquis and Mary Sherman; sister, Norma Jean (the late Robert) Murphy; and nephew, Rob Murphy.
Andrew was born on May 16, 1940 in Goodrich, Michigan to Marquis and Mary Arnold. He proudly served alongside his friend, Mike Reed, as the first athletic director and football coach of Holy Family Catholic School in Grand Blanc. He was very active in both school and church activities. Andrew's passions included Christ and golf, and throwing the best pool parties for all of his neighbors and friends. Every friend was truly a "best friend" to Andrew.
Memorial mass will be held in the future at Holy Family Catholic Church.
