Joyce Dianne Leslie- Beloved sister, teacher, and friend, age 81 of Linden, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Joyce was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on March 2, 1942. Joyce became a true Michigander when she began her teaching career. She was a dedicated teacher to students from elementary to middle school, for over 45 years. Joyce was loved and respected by those she nurtured and cared so much for in the Grand Blanc area. Joyce was a classy lady with impeccable taste. She loved all things antique and her home reflected her excellent taste. Joyce was the daughter of the late James and June Knell,who were ministers in the Assembly of God Churches. Joyce was nine years old when ( her sometimes annoying sister was born) she was a wonderful big sister! Joyce was a stellar woman, friend,teacher and human being, she will be missed dearly by her sister and close friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents and 2 infant brothers.
Joyce is survived by her sister Judi Middleton , of Ohio. Much thanks to her loyal friends: Don kinder, Holly Metcalfe, Rob McCall and Jim Mason.
Interment will take place at the Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery.
