HIGGINS, Gregory Alan, age 72 of Flint, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024 at Medilodge of Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be announced and held.. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Greg to the VFW - Hammerberg Memorial Post #3720 (3131 Elms Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan 48473).
Greg was born on January 19, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to the late William Smith and Ruth Darlene (Brevard) Higgins. He attended the Carman-Aisnworth School System and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a dedicated member of the VFW - Hammerberg Memorial Post #3720 in Swartz Creek, Michigan. Greg enjoyed being outdoors, especially working on cars, camping, fishing, attending NASCAR races, hosting bonfires and he cherished the time that he spent with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Chad (Christina) Higgins and Ashley Higgins. Grandchildren, Zoey, Liam and Remi. Brothers, Gary (Carol) Higgins and Bruce (Debbie) Higgins. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cathy Stewart.
