DAVIS, Margaret Elizabeth - Age 91, of Linden, passed away June 2, 2023. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Margaret was born April 5, 1932 in Argentine, the daughter of George and Maude (Townsend) Markley. She married Martin Davis on June 24, 1950 in Linden; he preceded her in death on December 9, 1989. Margaret had lived in Linden for over 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarkston and retired from the United States Postal Service. She is survived by her children, Dennis Davis, Linda Childers, Pamela (Jim) Decker, Patricia (Clyde) Payton; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
