VANCAMP, Jeffrey “Jeff” – of Mt. Morris, formerly of Clio, age 57, died Monday, December 19, 2022, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held 1PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Whaley Children’s Center in Flint, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Jeff was born February 17, 1965, in Howell, Michigan, to Donald and Joyce (Angus) VanCamp. He attended Clio Community Schools where he received his high school diploma and worked as a field service technician at Intra Corporation for 6 years. During his time with Intra, Jeff was granted the opportunity to not only travel the United States, but other countries. He found himself traveling to Germany during his most recent out of state task. Jeff owned and operated JA Associates Inc. in Clio and co-owned BROADTEQ AEC with his business partner, Jerry Seymour. On November 11, 2022, Jeff married his best friend, Rhonda Mohr. Jeff and Rhonda shared 10 years together before uniting in a private ceremony of love. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling- especially throughout Michigan and the Florida Keys. He was a member of the ATV Off Road Club where he traveled throughout Michigan riding off road vehicles. Jeff was a man who lived every day to the fullest. He was an incredible husband, father, brother, son, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Jeffrey is forever loved by his wife, Rhonda VanCamp; Son, Justin VanCamp; Mother, Joyce VanCamp; Brothers: Brad (Cathy) VanCamp and Joe (Rochelle) VanCamp; Close friends: Jeff (Val) Rising and Eugene (Kim) Munsell; Loving companion, Otis. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Donald, in 2004; Former spouse, Ann, in 2010; Grandparents; Beloved German Shepherd, Sierra. |
