Leo was born September 6, 1936, in Montrose, Michigan, to the late Earl and Ferne (Wenn) Miller. From a young age he was raised by the late Dennis and Pearl (Wenn) Ross. He attended and graduated from Mt. Morris high school in 1955. He excelled at sports and his football team was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. He went on to serve in the United States Army. Leo married the love of his life, Christine Roebuck on June 4,1971. He retired from GM AC Flint in 1998. His love of sports continued throughout life. He was a devoted fan to U of M, the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Redwings. Leo’s interests included fishing, bowling, reading, and golf. He spent many years at Vienna Green Golf Course with family and friends. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was their best friend as much as they were his. They did everything from watching movies and listening to music, to telling stories about their lives. He loved attending all their events, and teaching them to play golf, pool and euchre. More than anything he was an amazing husband, dad, papa, brother and friend, who will be dearly missed.
