HOWELL, Michelle R. – age 54, died on Friday, May 30, 2025, at McLaren Flint. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A Celebration of Michelle’s Life will be held in August for family and friends.
Michelle was born on August 24, 1970, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Earl and Mary (Ringwelski) Wilcox. She graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1988. Michelle spent most of her life in Georgia before returning to her home state of Michigan. She married Tim Howell in May of 2021, and together they enjoyed love and companionship. For 24 years, Michelle dedicated herself to her role as a Clerk at the Carrollton County Courthouse. Michelle loved bowling, decorating her home, and listening to classic rock music. She also had a deep affection for animals and found peace in the outdoors, especially while camping. Michelle cherished the time spent with her family—laughing, sharing stories, and simply being together meant the most to her.
Surviving are: Husband, Tim Howell; Daughter, Rachel Empie; Siblings: Bob (Marlene) Wilcox, Debbie Wilcox, Kim Wilcox, Keith (Julie) Wilcox, and Randy (Linda) Wilcox; Several loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
