Jacqueline Ferguson of Richfield Township age 94 died Thursday January 16, 2025 at Americana Assisted Living.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Richfield Church of the Nazarene 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Otisville, MI 48463 Rev. Alan Duce officiating with burial to follow at Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors Tuesday January 21, 2025 from 2:00-7:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Jacqueline will lie in state at the church from 11:00am until time of service at the church Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Richfield Church of the Nazarene or Eastside Mission.
Jacqueline was born in Flint, Michigan on October 8, 1930 the daughter of the late Basel and Vivian (Cornelly) Welch and resided in the Davison area most of her life. Jackie was joined in marriage to Robert Ferguson on October 22, 1949 and he preceded her death on October 23, 2007. Jacqueline was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, she enjoyed working in her flower garden, she also enjoyed cooking and baking pies for her children for their birthday, she was on many bowling leagues, and she volunteered at the Eastside Mission for many years. Jacqueline worked many years alongside her husband Robert at Ferguson Block Company.
She is survived by children: Steve and( partner Alisa Wonnacott )Ferguson, and Ginny and husband Michael Thorp, son in law Robert Schiller; grandchildren: Amanda (Foster) Whitworth, Rebecca Schiller, Morgan Ferguson, Adam McGrath, Libby (Thomas) Crawforth, and Ella McAndrew; great grandchildren: Fim, Orson, Hadley, Carter, Emmersyn, and Evelyn, and host of extended family and friends.
