BARRY, Michael Toke – of Ortonville, MI, age 47, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, April 10, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Burial will follow immediately after at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, with military honors. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 PM and 4-7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Michael was born in Newport, Rhode Island on July 27, 1974, son of Wayne Barry and Cindy (Woggerman) Clark. He married his best friend and love of his life, Melisa Mikeworth on March 7, 1996. He was the proud and loving father of Taylor Alexis Barry born on February 23, 1998. After graduating Holly High School in 1992, he proudly served in the United States Navy and was stationed in Bremerton, Washington on the USS Sacramento AOE-1. Michael worked for Chrysler Automotive as a Skilled Tradesman.
Michael is survived by his wife, Melisa Barry; daughter, Taylor Barry; his parents, Wayne and Cathy Barry, Cindy and Bob Clark; Mother-in-Law, Sally DeBarr; siblings, Wayne (Jen) Barry, Jr., Miki Ann (Joe) Welker, Telly Van Clark, Eric Kovarcik; grandmother, Patricia Woggerman.
Mike leaves behind many dear friends including Tonya, Myke, Karen, Mary, Chris, Kristen and Mark and a large extended family. Mike was the fun uncle that all his nieces and nephews adored, making people laugh was his life’s mission. He loved all animals, most especially his dogs Pedro, his little buddy and sweet Bindi, cats, Bazinga and Marty and Missy’s chickens were tolerated. He was a gentle soul who enjoyed long country drives with his girl, trading laughs and jokes with his darlin’ daughter, collecting baseball cards, tacos and thunderstorms.
