MATESIC, Zlatko - Of Flint Township, age 82, died Monday, June 19, 2023.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Andy Auclair officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8pm Friday, June 30 and 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Zlatko was born in Restovo’ Croatia on August 17, 1940, the son of the late Janko and Dragica Matesic.
Zlatko proudly served in the Croatian Navy. He enjoyed water skiing, boating, fishing, traveling to Florida and spending time with his family. His grandchildren were very important to him. Zlatko retired from General Motors SPO and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are children, Elana Jane Matesic and Erik Z. Matesic;
grandchildren, Jacob David Thornton and Leah Jane Wildfong;
mother of his children and friend, Jan Kay Matesic-Teague;
brother, Drago “Karl” (Lubica Amelia) Matesic.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Anthony Corey Matesic, brothers, Miho Matesic, Steve Matesic and Joe Matesic and sisters, Barbara Iancic, Vika Matesic and Dragica Jaksic.
