TEFFNER, James A. "Jim" - age 54, of Flint formerly of Fenton, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service Saturday. Memorial contributions would be appreciated for an Education Fund for Cameron Teffner.
James was born November 13, 1965 in Flint, the son of James Alexander and Shirley Maxine (Harrison) Teffner. He was a graduate of Fenton High School. James was employed as a very skilled car painter with Car-Rite in Flint for many years. He was a "do anything kind of handyman" and a perfectionist! James had a keen eye for detail which reflected in his home and everything he did throughout his life.
Surviving are: his son, Cameron Teffner; fiance, Vicky Wagner; siblings, Dennis (Rita) Teffner, Pat (Cindy) Teffner, Linda (Pat) Thomas, Judy Haas, David (Laura) Teffner, Mark (Penny) Teffner, Mary (Robert) Folts, Anne (Ken) Donakowski, Lisa (Brian) Bellinger; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Dwight Haas. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
