BRIGGS, Carol Lee - Age 80, of Linden, passed away November 3, 2022. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 1PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Symphony of Linden. Carol was born December 14, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of James and Etta Jane (Reynolds) Culver. She married Leonard Briggs on October 14, 1960 in Flint. Carol enjoyed boating, shopping and traveling. Carol loved feeding and watching birds, especially hummingbirds. She lived in Black River on Lake Huron, where she sailed the Great Lakes on "The Grand Poobah". She and her husband also spent many years wintering in Gulf Shores, AL. She was a longtime member of Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are her children, Rodney (Janel) Briggs and Robbin (Jeffrey) Burrow; grandson, Justin Briggs; siblings, Debbie Brooks, Cindy (Pat) Chapman Nolph, Mike Culver, Mark Culver and Scott Culver; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leonard. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Symphony of Linden for their wonderful care.
