TURGEON, Anna – of Burton, MI, age 94, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday May 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, May 9, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5199 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning, celebrant. Entombment will take place following the Mass at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 2– 6 PM Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM at the funeral home following visitation. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America or Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Anna’s memory.
Anna was born on March 13, 1928, in Flint, Michigan, daughter of the late Emanuel and Archangela (Fiermonte) Massar. On June 28, 1958, Anna married the love of her life, Leroy Turgeon. She enjoyed shopping, attending auctions and spending time in her garden. Her greatest love however, was being the best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family, and sharing memories of her life.
Anna is survived by her loving children, Gary (Tammy) Turgeon, Anne Marie (Doug) O’Neal, Greg (Ann) Turgeon. She is survived by her grandchildren, Gary Lee, Matthew, Melinda (Dustin), Jonathan, Kenny (Ashley), Kaitlyn, Brianna, Jacob, Morgan and Kelsey, 12 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Patricia Chema, many nieces and nephews, and very special family friend, Tony Bielec. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Turgeon; her parents, Emanuel and Archangela (Fiermonte) Massar; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jack Schifano; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven (Josephine) Massar and James (Shirley) Massar
