PEPPLER, Shirley Mae – Of Flint, age 85, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her residence.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
A private graveside service will be held at Flint Memorial Park.
Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on October 3, 1935, the daughter of Richard and Ida (Tarpley) Stanfill.
She loved to crochet and was involved in the Linus Project at Joann Fabrics for many years.
Shirley also enjoyed traveling. Above all else she loved spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her sons, Jack E. Peppler, Jr. and John R. Peppler;
Son-in-law, Robert D. Perry; daughter, Margie Peppler;
Also beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Master Sergeant David D. and wife Vera Peppler and their sons, Aiden and Cody; Nicholas A. Perry, Kasey M. and husband David Shuck; Master Chief, Christopher D. and his wife Megan Perry and their two children, Nathan and Lilly and grandson, Johnathon X. Peppler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Peppler, a Paratrooper in the Korean War; daughter, Pamela Perry and daughter-in-law, Kay Peppler.
