Norma J. Hockin, age 76, of Oregon Township, passed away on July 19, 2014. Loving wife of George R. Hockin (D. 2005)
Survived by her two sons, Robert (Denise) Hockin and Michael (Tamara) Hockin; her grandchildren, Allison (Chad) Carson, Darrin Hockin, Derek Hockin and Andrew Hockin; her great-grandchildren, Calli and Tucker Carson, Damien and Layla Hockin; her siblings, Tom (Kris) Miller, JoAnn Miller, and Gary Miller.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband George, her son Brady, and her brother Scott Miller.
As a Realtor, Norma worked with both Quaker Realty in Metamora, MI as well as Joan Willman Realty of Lapeer, MI. She held a special passion for gardening as well as enjoying sewing, baking, camping, and making pottery. She will be missed by her cats Minnie, Charlie and Suzie.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel on Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 PM. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 22 from 4-8 PM and Wednesday, July 23 from 4-8 PM. Interment at Oregon Township Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Michigan Humane Society are greatly appreciated.
