KHOURY, Hanna “Shawki” – Of Flint, age 85, died Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence.
Private Funeral service will be held at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint, Father Joseph Abud officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Hanna was born in Ramallah, Palestine on July 12, 1935, the son of the late Atallah and Zarifeh Khoury.
He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church.
Mr. Khoury owned John Khoury Tailor Shop for many years.
Surviving are wife, Reema;
son, Samir and daughter, Ranya and Mark Schotten;
grandchildren, Alyssa and Nadim;
brother, Fuad Khoury;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his son, George; four brothers and one sister.
