ROSE, Bonnie M. - Went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2022, after a long battle with health issues. She was 75 years old.
It would be wrong to say that Bonnie lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how limited her physical abilities or the severity of her illness, she was always determined to keep moving forward. With the love and support of her family, Bonnie stayed strong when many others would have broken. Thanks to Bonnie we all know what strength and resilience truly looks like.
A longtime resident of Flint, Michigan, formerly of Clio, Michigan, Bonnie worked hard to support her family and truly enjoyed her career as a Building Inspector for Flint Township. Physical disabilities may have cut her career short, however her incredible memory and level of knowledge of the building trades made her a valuable source of information for her “do it yourself” family.
Bonnie is survived by: Children: David Rose, Robert Rose, and Kimberly & Randy Hamilton; 6 grandchildren: Melissa Rose-White, Jennifer Rose, Brooke Rose, Hannah & Jameson Watt, Austin & Sammie Hamilton and Charles Hamilton; 8 great grandchildren: Kylie Bargy, Carter Arwood, Gabriella White, Tyson White, Tania Cox, Britton Cox, Avah Watt and Trace Watt. Bonnie was preceded in death by: First husband, Harry Rose; Second husband, Kenneth Michael McDonald; Son, Edward Rose.
The family invites you to join them for a funeral service at 1PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM until 8PM, and on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Cremation to follow.
