Lucille M. (Eathorne) Chittick - Age 94, of Linden, passed away March 31, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 10AM on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes- Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton, MI. Visitation will take place from 4PM - 8PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Argentine Township Cemetery in Linden.
Lucille was born January 18, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harold Alexander and Gladys Marie (Selman) Eathorne. She raised her family in Linden where she worked at Linden Restaurant, The Flame, and later opened Lucy's Knit to Fit, a knitting shop, in her home. She was very active in her community where she could often be found attending knitting seminars, playing bingo, and selling her knitted creations at craft shows. Lucille loved celebrating Christmas and gathering with family. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, Tom Jones, and the Rat Pack, and would never miss an opportunity to dance.
Lucille is survived by children Ronald Martin (Katy) Chittick, Joey Lee (the late Mary) Chittick, Cindy Lou (Gary) Chittick-Harvey, and Tina Marie (Dave) Riley; daughter-in-law Lori Chittick; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William A. Chittick; son David Victor Chittick; grandchildren Renée and Chad; great-grandchildren Lucy and Francie; son-in-law Dan Phalen; and siblings Jim Eathorne, Doris Brady, June Thompson, Grace Harwood, and Richard Eathorne.
