WILLIAM “BILL” KANSORKA
William “Bill” Kansorka, age 77, of Williston, died Monday, January 10, 2011, at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1933, in Toledo to Harold and Ruth (Hartranft) Kansorka. Bill proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Fabricator for D & R Machine. Bill married Mary Short on July 20, 1957. Bill taught Western Round dancing for over 40 yrs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Mary, son; Kim K. “Moose” Kansorka, daughter; Mary Beth (Tony) Outhier, granddaughter, Andrea Kansorka, sisters; Phyllis Harpel, and Nancy (Russell) Burghardt, aunt; Marge Malone and sister-in-law; Ruth Reed. He was preceded in death by his sister Alice Sutphin.
Friends and Family may be received on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 and Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 2-8pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where Walbridge VFW Post #9963 and Lake Twp. Fire Department will conduct services, Thursday evening at 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home, on Friday, January 14, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
