Liggett II James Norman - Age 58, of Burton, died August 21, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday August 26 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, and 9 AM Thursday until the time of the service. James was born May 20, 1963 in Flint, the son of James Norman and Ruth Catherine (Hazel) Liggett. He worked at Webcor Packaging in Burton, Durand and Owosso with 33 years of service. James loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved their cookouts especially the seafood boils. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid Detroit sports fan, especially the Detroit Lions. James is survived by his wife of 28 years, Therese; 3 children, Whitney Torok (Donnie Martin) of Birch Run, Megan Liggett (Jacob Heidel) of Flint, Kyle Liggett (Chelsea Haubenstricker) of Lennon; 4 grandchildren, Cole, Nova, Lydia, Kyle James; siblings, Rebecca Dessinger, Catherine Dessinger, Donna Gebhardt; many nieces and nephews.
