Glenn was born in Flint, Michigan on March 27, 1930, the son of the late Rueben and Agnes (Ward) Crandell.
Glenn married Arlayne on October 22, 1949 in Flint and she preceded him in death.
Glenn was a GM retiree.
Surviving are daughter, Linda Barnes of Fenton;
daughter-in-law, Ellen Crandell;
grandchildren, Brandon and wife Erin Barnes of Florida,
Brianne Barnes of Ohio,
Chris and wife Danielle Crandell of Swartz Creek
and Richard and wife Angie Crandell of Chesaning;
7 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Ann Windom of Linden, Barbara Craven of Grand Blanc and Joan Tait of West Branch;
brother, William Crandell of Fenton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlayne; son, Glenn, Jr. and son-in-law, David Barnes.
