BINGHAM, Betty Lou – of Davison, age 76, passed away February 23, 2015 at The University of Michigan Hospital – Ann Arbor. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday. Donations may be made to The Vasculitis Foundation.
Betty was born in Decaturville, TN on April 23, 1938 daughter of Boyd and Idonas (Morgan) Tucker. She married Norris Bingham in Corinth, MS on April 1, 1956. Betty earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Baker College and later worked as treasurer for Richfield Township. She enjoyed birds, flowers, gardening, quilting, knitting, canning and spending time with her friends.
Betty is survived by husband, Norris; children, Kim (Jerry) West, Bentley (Shannon) Bingham, Carol Bingham and Lee Ann Gaspar; mother, Idonas Tucker; grandchildren, Ryan West, Amanda West; siblings, Annabelle Hanna, Jerry (Shirley) Tucker; sister in laws, Ann White, Nancy (David) White; also many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd; father and mother in law, Edward and Thelma Bingham.
