HICKMAN, RUTH ANN of Ortonville; died May 12, 2022. She was 68. She was born April 22, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Robert John and Anna Margaret (nee: Bentz) Voss. Ruth Ann married Paul Hickman on June 15, 1980 in Toledo, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Hickman, one son, Jacob (Hannah) Kniss, two grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Kniss; two sisters, Jane Voss and Carleen August; four brothers, Michael Voss, Christopher Voss, Anthony Voss and Jerome Voss. Also survived by her many, many sisters in Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Donna Anderson and two brothers, Raymond Voss and Kevin Voss. Ruth Ann loved crafting, re-purposing her many treasures and most recently handmade journals. Ruth Ann’s love of family and friends was only out done by her love of God. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Bridgewood Church 6765 Rattalee Lake Road, Clarkston, Michigan. Pastor Curt Demoff, officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South St., Ortonville.
