BINDER, Joseph M. “Easy” – Of Flint, age 56, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at McLaren-Flint.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00am-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 8th. Visitation also 1:00pm on Thursday until the time of service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Joe was born in Dearborn, Michigan on January 29, 1966, the son of the late Joseph T. and Eileen (O’Neil) Binder. Since childhood, Joe has been attending concerts and he especially loved Van Halen. He was an avid biker and a member of the Barons MC, Gaines, where he coined the nickname “Easy”. He was adventurous and enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife and daughter, Abigail. Joe and Lynn had a beautiful, obsessive love for each other and everyone knew it. From the moment Joe found out he was expecting a son he became the love of his life. Joseph was his concert buddy and best friend. Joe couldn’t have been a more proud father; Joseph was his world. He had so much love for his entire family and friends. He will be dearly missed, “Take it easy”.
Surviving are wife, Lynn;
son, Joseph Binder;
daughter, Abigail;
sisters, Kathy (Lon) Pratt and Ellen Binder (Rocker);
nieces and nephews, Faith Ann (Hank), Myranda Eileen (Nathan), Michael and Lon Christopher;
great nieces and nephew, Saige, Malone and Bryson;
and many, many friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eileen, Uncle Jack, Uncle Tommy (Godfather), Aunt Kathy and cousins, Teddy and Eric.
