PERKINS, Douglas Raymond - Age 64, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday December 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held 5PM Wednesday, December 16 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Pastor Dennis J. Himm officiating. Visitation will be held 3PM Wednesday until the time of service. Douglas was born June 29, 1956 in Detroit, the son of Dr. Ronald Frederick and Beverly Jean (Smith) Perkins. He married Catrina Frederick in St. Johns, Michigan on December 8, 1995. Mr. Perkins proudly served his country in the U S Navy and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a over the road truck driver for 12 years and recently was driving a truck for Schad Boiler Setting Company. Surviving are, wife of 25 years, Catrina Perkins of Grand Blanc, MI; children, Jennifer Perkins of Woodhaven, MI, Kadie Perkins of Grand Blanc, MI, Nathan Perkins of Grand Blanc, MI; grandchildren, Brandon Roy, Chase Jedenasty, Kaylee Jedenasty, Aiden Perkins, Ari Henderson; great granddaughters, Abriella Roy and Aviyana Roy. He is also survived by his mother, Beverly Perkins of Riverview, MI; sister, Lezlie Perkins and nephew, Joshua Arm of Detroit, MI.
