Fred was born in Flint, Michigan on June 10, 1938, the son of the late John and Violet (Poli) Fabris.

Fred lived by the mantra of work hard, play hard. He was the owner of Fabris Pearce Tile & Terrazzo. His work ethic further defined his strong character, diligence and strength. Whether spending time at the lakehouse up north, hunting and fishing, a game of H.O.R.S.E. on the basketball court, or a game of Euchre, he spent time enjoying his favorite hobbies with loved ones.

He was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen's Union, and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are wife, Sharon;

daughters, Julie (Steve) Gagne, Jill (Todd) Pearce, Janelle (Jeff Sherbino) Wallace;
