Foster Sr., William Jackson - Age 75, of Flint, died April 2, 2021. A Public Funeral service will be held 1PM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd. Flint with Elder JC Hagar and Elder David Hagar officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc, MI 48507. Those desiring may make contributions to Cystic Fibrosis in memory of Trisha Cory. Public Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. All family and friends are welcome at the visitation, funeral and dinner. William was born September 22, 1945 in Flint, the son of William Edger and Edith Maxine (Strickland) Foster. He married Linda Coleman on March 5, 1966. William worked for Buick Motor Company Plant 36. He lived for his family who were the most important part of his life. William also loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Dorenbecker; son, William "Bill" (Timmery) Foster Jr.; 2 loving grandsons, Jackson Paul Foster, Tyson James Foster; sister, Sharon Toby; mother, Edith Foster; good friend, Michael Eatman; special friends, Dave and Sharon Cory. William is preceded in death by his father, William E. Foster; brother, Danny Foster; sister, Vicky Evans; and 3 infant grandsons. A special thanks to Kindred Hospice for their care of William.
