WILLS, Novell Maria – of Clio, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A Celebration of Novell’s Life will be held at 3PM Friday, July 16, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. A livestream will be available for those not able to attend in person. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM until the time of service at 3PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesee County Animal Control.
Novell was born August 12, 1969, in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Linda (Robinson) Homan. She graduated from Holly High School in 1988. Novell was a bartender at The Black Horse Tavern in Clio for the last 4 years. She previously worked for Remington’s Food and Spirits and Cruisin’ Night Club in Flint. Novell enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques from thrift stores and pretty stones from beaches all over. She loved dogs, especially her two: Princess and Kassius. Novell was a social butterfly who loved being with people and was a true joy to be around. She had a loving big heart, was always there to help others, and had an infectious “snort” laugh that she was well known for. Novell will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are: Sons: Corey Yonkers, and Seth Wills; Daughter, Hope Wills; Father, Robert Homan; Sister, Mary (Paul) Naegle; Brother, Rob A.L. (Dawn) Homan; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. Novell was preceded in death by: Son, Travis Yonkers; Mother, Linda Homan.
